Jillian Dinkel is an American Interior Designer based in Sydney, Australia.

Regarded as a fresh and promising talent with a discerning eye, Jillian founded Jillian Dinkel Designs as a full service residential interior design practice.

Jillian’s designs focus on her ability to strike a balance in creating inviting spaces with an elevated aesthetic. Her designs are always unique and authentic to her client’s lifestyles and personalities, creating immediately distinctive and desirable living spaces for her clients, while increasing their property value.

Jillian believes a home is at its best when filled with family and friends alike, so she designs with entertaining in mind. She is known for transforming balconies, terraces and backyards into year-round entertaining spaces. Taking cues from the relaxed bohemian ocean-side lifestyle of Sydney, a strong connection and flow between the indoors and out is a hallmark of her work.

From a young age, watching her parent’s experiences in renovation, Jillian gained a true vision for how a space can evolve. It is this vision that drives her to realise effective and creative design to improve her client’s experiences in their homes. Revealing to clients the untapped potential of their homes is her favourite part of the design process.

Originally based in New York City, Jillian has spent her entire career facilitating creative expression. Prior to starting Jillian Dinkel Designs, Jillian enjoyed a successful decade-long career in fashion, most recently as Casting and Photography Director for VOGUE Australia working with many of the world’s most celebrated celebrities, stylists and photographers. Jillian holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and studied interior design at Sydney Design School.

Jillian currently works on residential and commercial projects at Warrane, specialising in hotels, pubs and breweries.
