The grounds of this 1913 Arts and Crafts style estate (designed by pre-eminent architectural firm Manson and Pickering) offers panoramic views from it’s elevated position. Originally built for Sir Alexander MacCormick, the estate has seen many lives and uses over the last century. This property sits within the original horse stables, now transformed into a secondary home to be used exclusively for entertaining.

Inspiration was drawn from
traditional English design-
moody and unexpected
materials combine in
captivating combinations
Uniquely layered materiality aligned seamlessly with the mood of the main entertaining spaces, and craftsmen and makers were sourced from all over the globe to achieve the finest details and finishes. From the hand applied wall finishes to the combination of steel and stone in the kitchen-some of our favourite materials were found in details big and small.
Reimagining the home into a space for entertainment, wellness and creative pursuits saw bedrooms evolve into a pilates studio, playroom and art studio.
Throughout this transformative project, meticulous attention to detail, proportion, and craftsmanship reigned supreme. Every aspect of the estate’s design, from the grand architectural features to the smallest decor accents, was curated to evoke a sense of timeless elegance and refined luxury.
